What has been happening since our last newsletter?...

On Wednesday the 6^th of March we held our Primary athletics carnival. Well done to everyone who participated and congratulations to Laburnum for winning! It was beautiful weather and there was excitement in the air. The points were finalised with 300 to Laburnum and 255 to Churchill. Thankyou to school leaders, house captains, staff and community members who supported and made it a successful day.

That afternoon, we also held our meet, greet, and eat in our new courtyard area. We enjoyed seeing new and old faces and getting to know everyone better!

Last week our grade 3,5,7 and 9 classes started NAPLAN reading and numeracy, well done to all the students who have participated so far and for having their best try and showing excellent resilience and care for their learning.

Kinder to Year 2 water orientation will be held on Tuesday the 9^th of April, Wednesday the 10^th and Thursday the 11^th of April. Please make sure your child is prepared with towels, bathers and a plastic bag for their wet items. It is an excellent opportunity and we are sure it will be lots of fun.

We are already over halfway through this term and the Easter long weekend is coming up fast with Good Friday on the 29^th of March. This year is going very quickly and smoothly!

The school is after some Lego of any shape or colour. If you could possibly donate some we would really appriciate it, you can drop it into the front office.

Parents/Carers - we encourage you to sign-up to Seesaw if you haven't already. Thankyou to those families who have signed up! Did you know you can use Seesaw to easily message your child's teachers? A QR code was sent home with validation forms - or you can call our friendly office staff and they'll help get you linked to your child's class. The more families we can get using Seesaw, the more effective it will be! For attendance/absences - please continue to call our school office directly.
