Student Leader Report - By Holly Smith
Since our last newsletter we have had a busy fortnight. On the 25th of March, primary students had their interschool running carnival. A huge congratulations to the following students: Amber, Chloe, Addison, Riley G, Tobias, Jacob, Lilly, Lainey, Laicee, Taylor, Sheldon, Charlie R, Shayla, Makenna, Zoe, Sarah, Riley F, Logan, Noah B, Bella, Claire, Molly, Noah T, Maison and helper Brock. The students represented Campania so well and put in HUGE effort on the day. It was cold and drizzly but the students demonstrated high levels of resilience. Special mentions go to Addison and Shayla. Addison stopped her race to help a student from another school that had fallen over. Shayla had a tumble but continued to race for the rest of the day. They demonstrated excellent school values. The Champions Carnival is scheduled for Wednesday the 1st of May. Any students selected will be notified via a notice home with details.
We also enjoyed a few days off for Easter. I’m sure lots of chocolate was had by all.
The School Association held a quiz night and it sure was a fantastic turn out and we thank them and the community for your support.
You may notice out and around our school there have been new roads put in. They are nice, fresh and clean. We hope that people in our loving community will treat them with respect. Thankyou.
Today we held our school ‘rewards day’. It was fantastic to finish the school term with some fun activities for all. Activities included fishing, craft, cooking and sports activities just to name a few. Thank you to the staff for offering these activities for our last day of term rewards.
Prep to Gr 2 participated in water orientation that was held this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Oatlands pool. It was fantastic to see the students enjoying the water. We thank Oatlands Pool for having us again.
We hope everyone enjoys the next two weeks of school holidays and we welcome students back Monday 29th April.
I wanted to send a friendly reminder that school levies are due. Your contributions play a crucial role in supporting various educational initiatives and resources that directly benefit our students.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the levy process or would like to set up a regular payment plan, please don't hesitate to reach out.
