In Prep/1 Ahokas and Levett, we have been learning about families and how things have changed over time. To help us explore the past, we borrowed a special “memory case” from the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG).

Inside were old kitchen items that people used many years ago. We had fun talking about what they were used for and comparing them to what we use in our kitchens today.

It’s been a great way for students to learn about history in a hands-on and engaging way!
